sab se pehlay pyaaz ko aadha cupp ghee mein fry karen .
phir is mein gala sun-hwa gosht daal den .
ab is mein adrak lahsun paste, namak, laal mirch, haldi, saabit garam masalha aur taiz pata daal kar achi terhan bhuvan len .
phir jo ko gala kar is mein gheehon ko shaamil kar dein .
ab aik pain mein gosht, dalain, jo aur adhay gheehon daal kar darmiyani aanch par pakayen aur achi terhan mِks karen .
ab is mein hasbey zaroorat pani daal den .
ab is mein tali hui pyaaz ka baqiya oil aur garam masalha shaamil karkay achi terhan mix kar dein aur dhaanp den .
phir dheemi aanch par paknay ke liye rakh den .
kuch der baad ghotnay ki madad se halka sa mix karen aur dobarah dhaanp den .
kuch der paknay ke baad cholhe band karkay ghotnay ki madad se achi terhan ghot len .
ab is mein thora sa pani daal kar baqiya gheehon bhi daal den aur halki aanch par gonte rahen .

ab aik allag pain mein ghee daal kar cholhe par rakhen aur pyaaz daal kar halka brown karlen aur is pyaaz se Haleem par bighar laga den .
phir harey dhaniya, lemoo, hari mirch aur adrak se garnish karkay saro karen .
